EXTRACTION TECHNIQUES IN MODERN EDITION

Traditional extraction techniques like: liquid-liquid extraction or liquid-solid have been used for many years in
analytical laboratories. However, these techniques are generally time-consuming, consume excessive amounts of
organic solvents and require a large commitment of the analyst, because these processes are not fully automated
although often multistage. The current trend of shortening the time of sample analysis to a minimum and full
automation of the process led to design new solutions to meet these requirements. Moreover, presented modern
extraction techniques are characterized by high reproducibility and efficiency of the process.
