Spectroscopy versus spectrometry polemiki, problemy
Analysis of the professional literature does not provide clear or consistent answers to the questions about: (i) defini-
tions, (ii) meaning differences and (iii) application range of the terms “spectroscopy” and “spectrometry”. In the
following article, I am trying to illustrate the chaos around these two concepts and thereby initiate the discussion
leading to its arrangement.
